  At age 11 Shane Heaths’ world as he knew it was about to be turned upside down. He received his first Consumers Distributing electric guitar and amp and bought Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil on cassette.
 
  Now, 28 years later, the Consumers Distributing guitar has been replaced with a collection of bass and electric guitars following his childhood passion for music. Shane has been a part of nine bands; Sister Rhythm, Flud, Porno Fuk, The Syndicate, Rays Right Fender, Funnel Bucket, Bob Heath and the Staggering Drunks , Imperial Serpent and currently The Jimmy Stone Radio Show. He is also the owner/operator of One Star Studio.

   Shane’s musical career excelled with Flud as the band extensively toured Canada and The United States in the 90's . Flud was signed to a two album record deal with Golden Core ZYX records and they released 21,000 copies of their first CD, Electrolux. This is where Shane’s interest in producing music blossomed.

   During the production of Electrolux, Shane assisted producer Michael Jack, (produced The Trews, Bono, Nelly Furtado, Hilary Duff, Rush, "Song For Africa", Big Sugar, Kardinal Offishal, Ludacris etc.) by being the assistant mixing engineer. In the mid 90’s Shane had the honour of working with Juno and Grammy award-winning producer Walter Sobczak, (responsible for recording albums by the Barenaked Ladies, Dream Warriors and Reggadeth etc.). Heath took residence under this brilliant producer’s wing to gain all the industry and technical knowledge that would be essential at becoming a successful sound engineer.

   In 2001, Shane opened One Star Studio. 10 years later, 200 or more bands have walked through the studio doors and 300 plus albums have been recorded. One Star is now considered the hub of Barrie’s’ music scene. With a deep understanding of music and musical trends coupled with his extensive resume you can be sure that Shane Heath will produce your project to its optimum potential.
